Daniella Greene, Violinist

Daniella Greene is a passionate violinist, teacher, and budding arts administrator. She is currently the teaching assistant for Professor Yvonne Lam at Michigan State University, where she is pursuing her Doctorate of Musical Arts. She is also on faculty at the MSU Community Music School as a Suzuki violin teacher. She received her Bachelor of Music from the University of Akron, and graduate degrees in Suzuki Pedagogy and Music Performance from the Hartt School at the University of Hartford.

An active performer, Ms. Greene has performed with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, Connecticut Virtuosi Ensemble, Foot in the Door contemporary ensemble, and the Lions Gate Trio. She has also attended festivals such as Meadowmount, Kent-Blossom, Encore, and Festival del Lago in Mexico. During her time at the Hartt School, she taught chamber music through the Community Music Division, in addition to directing a Suzuki program at a local Montessori school and maintaining her own private violin studio. As an arts administrator, Ms. Greene has worked with educational programs and professional ensembles, and has previously held positions with the Hartt School, Lions Gate Trio, and Crescent City Chamber Music Festival.
