Casey Kearney, Oboist

Casey Kearney, originally from New York, joined the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra in 2022 as solo English hornist and section oboist. She regularly performs with festivals including the Artosphere Festival Orchestra and Bard Summerscape Opera, and is an active freelancer in the New Orleans area. Principal teachers and influences include Robert Sheena, Eugene Izotov, and Robert Walters. Outside of performing and practicing, she enjoys cooking, volunteering, and spending time with her husband and their two bunnies.
