Welcome to the Crescent City Chamber Music Festival website! After eight fantastic seasons, I am so gratified that CCCMF has become a firm part of the amazing New Orleans music scene. I am also pleased to announce that our Ninth Season, “Brandenburg and Beyond,” featuring J.S. Bach’s complete Brandenburg Concertos, will be held from October 10 – 20, 2024! At its heart, CCCMF is an outreach/mission-centric festival. In addition to presenting Seven Free Public Concerts this season, we will again give over 30 outreach performances for residents of nursing homes, hospitals, homeless shelters and retirement communities, and in classrooms and helping organizations throughout the Greater New Orleans area.
As a New Orleans native who resides in Algiers Point (where my great-grandfather owned a grocery store many years ago!) and who began viola lessons in Louisiana public schools, it means a great deal to me that through CCCMF I am able bring this amazing music and mission to my family, friends, and so many more here in this unique, vibrant, wonderful city.
